YEAR-ENDER FOLLOW FOREVER THING

When I was thinking of making this 2012 follow forever thing, I thought it’d be easier to just go with a fandom-y graphic (because the norm dictates there ought to be a graphic to go along with the list). But when I think about it, it’s not even really about fandom (although, of course, it’s very convenient to categorize people and blogs according to that). Really, it’s about the site itself and, of course, the people I get to interact with— the people who make it worthwhile to stay here, or to keep coming back.

Tumblr is weird in the way that it, sometimes, makes you feel as though you actually know someone even without any interaction that, in the ‘real world,’ would amount to anything close to ‘substantial.’ Cause, maybe I talked to someone once. Or a lot. Or maybe never at all. But there are bloggers who, even if all I’m actually doing is just looking at a portion of their internet activity, I feel like I actually know, and that I have some kind of connection with.

So if you’re listed here, then I hope you have an idea why (that means the ‘connection’ doesn’t solely exist in my head). But if you have no clue, then let me just say that I’m glad you exist, and that you blog, and that I can admire you even just from afar. (Also I hope that’s not as creepy as hell, I honestly don’t mean it to be! xD)
